Brandy Norwood
Brandy live in London

Singer, songwriter Brandy Norwood radiated an all woman confidence on Tuesday night at the O2 Indigo, London with her Slayana World Tour, in reference to her nickname as well as her own label Slayana Records.

She presented fans with a secure and anticipated selection of a tracks for approximately 1.25hrs, including What About Us, Full Moon, Sitting Up In My Room, I Wanna Be Down and others in quick progressions.

Throughout the set, Brandy expressed herself with a fearless yet humble performance as she kept an energetic momentum, engaging fans with slick choreography and effortless struts across the stage accompanied by two male dancing backing vocalists.

She ensured to honour her late friend Whitney Houston by, in her own words ‘attempting to sing’ How Will I know, I Wanna Dance With Somebody and Exhale. Brandy pulled off sweet and edgy versions of Whitney’s hits with her seasoned honeyed husk vocals.

Following her exit, she returned to the stage dressed as in all black funeral attire with her latest release ‘Beggin and Pleadin’, a personal song inspired by her recent heartbreak, pouring out her heart with lyrics….

“Damn boy, why you make it so hard?Brandy HDJ Music1
Stop putting your foot on my heart
I know I did my wrong, I know I did my dirt
Didn’t know how bad I would hurt
Told you, walk out that door, and you can keep your last name
Now I’m down on my knees, it’s a shame
I’m begging and pleading
Begging and pleading, hoping and wishing for a change
Told you, walk out that door, and you can keep your last name
Now I’m down on my knees, it’s a shame
Good God almighty”

We can expect her upcoming album will be filled with much more powerful emotion, introducing a fiery brand new and liberated Brandy!.
